African Professionals of Australia “Inc” is a Professional body whose mission is to contribute to the professional growth and capacity of African professionals living in Western Australia.. The African Professionals of Australia will pursue this through:

• Encouraging innovativeness among its membership
• Providing technical and professional support to both new skilled personnel arriving and those already living in Australia by conducting in-house seminars and workshops.
• Liaising with government agencies of existing policy issues in specific areas requiring skilled personnel.
• Making presentation to the government and its agencies regarding curricula. This will include lenght of training for each particular field, and existing professional bodies that regulate practicing standards and ethics.
• Strategic awareness
• Public awareness

Inspired by its quest to contribute to professional and ethical standard of service delivery, African Professionals of Australia "Inc" is dedicated to working with all professionals of African origin, from various sectors, in on-going skills assessments to meet the Australian requirement. African Professionals of Australia envisions itself as a medium for rapid integration of these skilled professionals in order to contribute the much-needed skilled personnel that is sometimes un-utilized by the nation either due to migrants’ ignorance in procedural requirements necessary to practice or the nation being unaware of their presence and existence in Australia.
